“New Wildpeak A/T4Ws Added some Wildpeak AT4s in 275/60r20 on my stock suspension ‘24 STX. Replaced the chrome lugs with black Gorillas and added rear well liners. Looks so much better than the OEM Hankooks.”

Weight the categories that matter to you
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

Falken WildPeak A/T4W
Community sentiment toward the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W is largely positive, with owners praising its aggressive aesthetics, quiet highway ride, and reliable traction in wet and snowy conditions. Most discussions focus on fitment clearance and upsized setups, with very little to no rubbing reported across multiple platforms. The primary critique and discussion point centers on its noticeable tire weight, associated MPG penalties, and confusing load-rating weight discrepancies.
“New shoes! Wildpeak A/T4W Coming off of the stock LTX AT2s & upsizing to 285/70r18. These are dope! Was scared to try 295’s since most of the 295’s that fit well are RG’s and the A/T3W’s.”
“Falken Wildpeak A/T4W (P275/60R20) Review Simple 2000mi review on Falken Wildpeak A/T 4W in P275/60R20 (33”). Fit - They do rub slightly with stock suspension, but only with the wheel turned 100%. It’s really not an issue and I will probably do some trimming or a level eventually. Fuel Efficiency - Seems to be about a 2mpg decrease compared to highway tires. Averaged 18mpg from Denver to Utah. Noise - Zero noticeable increase in road noise. Handling - On pavement they seem to handle the same as a highway tire. On a snow covered highway they performed excellent. Gave me a lot more confidence than my previous Wrangler SR-As. I haven’t tested them in very technical terrain yet but on the basic 4wd roads pictured, they did great.”
“Anyone running Falken Wildpeak A/T4Ws on their truck yet? I have a 21 Nissan Frontier SV (Midnight Edition) with 2" lift (Koni 82 shocks and ADO Parabolic Leaf spring in rear). I currently have stock Hankook Dynapro HT (RH12) 265/60R18 tires that need to be replaced. I just ordered a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tire size 265/65R18 to replace them. My understanding is 265/65R18 (31.6") should fit without any rubbing or modifications since that is the equivilant size tire that is installed on the Pro-4x model. I know I probably could have went a little larger but wanted to leave things as close to stock as possible. I had Falken Wildpeak A/T3W on my other truck and liked them. Anyone else have Falken Wildpeak A/T4W on their truck? How do you like them? Also - What should I do about my spare tire? It is currently 265/70R16. I assume I should upsize this to match (265/75R16)?”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
