“Update: Dealership confirmed that these Pirellis are cupping a bit in the front causing that rotational noise. Its not a good tire or brand. I have had michelins on my older ML350s and will get them again this fall. No more Pirellis for me. No matter how well you take care of them, they are not good for longevity.”

Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season
Community opinion on the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season is mixed, with strong praise for wet traction, dry handling, and quiet initial ride quality. However, several owners report issues with high-speed vibrations, cupping, increased road noise as the tires age, and mediocre tread life. Winter performance receives conflicting assessments, ranging from adequate in light snow to requiring dedicated winter setups.
“When I bought my truck it had a very rough ride. After getting the tires balanced (three tires out of balance) it was better, but still not right. It turned out that the tires had flat spots from sitting on the dealers lot for months. After enduring the bad ride for 1000 miles the dealer replaced one tire that had a permanent flat spot. The other were able to return to normal (dealer said). Ride was much improved but never up to what I expected. I decided to replace all the tires and had a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verde all season plus tires put on today. I am familiar with the Pirelli tires because I had them on my Honda Ridgeline and was very happy with them. All I can say is wow what a difference. I love these tires and my truck finally rides the way I would expect it to ride and handle at all speeds. Fortunately, I was able to sell my OEM tires to offset the expense. I went to a tire shop that sells used tires as well as new and they were happy to buy my tires as a part of the deal.”
“I have the 20” Perelli Scorpion Verde all season on my 2024 Macan S and am very happy with them. Very good handling , traction, and reasonably quiet. When they need to be replaced, I will likely stay with the same. They are only rated to 150 mph, so you do have to watch yourself on the on ramps :)”
“Hi All, In November 2024 I had a new set of 20" N rated Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons put on my Macan for use in the UK, France and Germany. Over this period I've now had them rebalanced 4 times over a distance of about 2,000 miles both front and rear. At speeds of 130kph and above (legally in Germany) there remains significant vibrations which I didn't get when I had the P Zero summers on. Has anyone else had similar experiences with these tyres and if so what was the resolution? Thanks”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
