Best test result: #3 of 10 in 2019 Auto Bild 4x4 All Season Tyre Test (dry braking)
“I have the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season from factory on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not the exact same tire as yours, yours is the updated version. Great tires, quiet, good in rain and light snow. I would buy again when its time to replace mine.”

Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season
Community opinion on the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season is mixed, with strong praise for wet traction, dry handling, and quiet initial ride quality. However, several owners report issues with high-speed vibrations, cupping, increased road noise as the tires age, and mediocre tread life. Winter performance receives conflicting assessments, ranging from adequate in light snow to requiring dedicated winter setups.
“All Season tyres Finding All Season tyres for my EV9 is proving to be an impossible task. Apparently this tyre size is unusual. I only found Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season (113V, LR) which is not an EV tyre but in fact intended for Land Rover. And it's not 3PMSF (real winter certification required in places like Germany). Anyone has some experience with this? Or is everyone with summer+winter tyres set up. Thank you!”
“I've had the very same tire on my Q5. They were very good the first 60% of their life, and then one went out of round. I had to shave and replace it out of warranty. Until then they were fairly quiet. Wear and wet traction was fine. Slipped a bit in ice, but admittedly I am partial to snow tires in very cold weather.”
“My sister put the CC2 on her RAV4 Hybrid. She did notice a hit in MPG but she also said she is ok with that since she has a lot better grip and less noise than whatever was on it new. She just did a round trip from NY to TN and commented how nice it was for road noise and when it poured. She did experience one snow and was very happy with them. I have the Pirelli P7 AS+2 on my Accord and Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS+2 on my daughters CRV. Both are a lot quieter than previous tires and ride great (GY Weatherready and Defender T&H). Bought the Pirelli’s because of noise ratings and reviews. I would not hesitate based on them to get the Pirelli AS3 but I run full winters on my vehicles. CC2 or a Nokian all weather would probably be my choice if I was doing a one tire.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
