“Bridgestone Turanza T005 tyres... Are they really shit or is there something wrong with my car? I've just had brand new ones fitted, I don't expect them to be amazing in this weather but I'm slipping and sliding all over the place. My car has less grip than my old tyres with 2mm left. Seriously, I went round a roundabout last night at 20mph and drifted out from the inner lane. Could there be something I need to get checked because I don't feel quite safe with them on... “Turanza T005 Hello, I bought a Seat Leon Cupra equipped with BRIDGESTONE TURANZA T005 XL in 225/40/18 92Y. I join you the card of the tire in attachment. It is the manufacturer model 13011. On the BRIDGESTONE website, there is a PDF with the list of all TURANZA models that I attach to this post. You can find the characteristics of the model 13011. Only here is one of my tires is damaged, and I would like to change it by the same model. First of all I can't find it on the online retailers. In fact, I can find references that look exactly the same. But there are some extra words that I don't understand. The abbreviations WAR/REP in the Trade Category column mean what exactly? I found the reference 8836 (or 13187) for example which corresponds in all points but the abbreviation REP is affixed in addition on the PDF. Please help me to find this information.”

“2025 Formentor VZ with 19s and Bridgestone Turanza T005... is 38 psi OK? Title says it. Car felt off lately, checked pressure and all were around 31 or 32. Sticker says 36 for W rated (which is ours) and 39 for Y rated. I went for 38 because there's usually 2 people in the car at all times, not 500kg but figured a drop of 1-2 PSI and I'm at 36. Wondering, 38 ok? What are you running? What a difference the 6 PSI makes though... wow.”

“The Bridgestone Turanza T005 UHP Summer tires suck My BMW i4 e40 has 8k miles on it. I usually never get flats, but in the past 8 months I have almost been stranded 3 times by flats, and I have had to replace two of tires because they were completely worn. These Bridgestone Turanza T005 UHP Summer tires are terrible. I've been replacing the worn tires with run-flats, but probably time to move to a different brand and all-season tire.”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
