Community sentiment toward the Pathfinder AT tire is predominantly positive, with owners highlighting its strong value proposition, low road noise, and solid wet and light off-road traction. “I will admit to being a Michelin snob. All but one of my vehicles currently has Michelin rubber. The vehicle that currently doesn't is my 2016 F150 Platinum. When I purchased that truck, it had PATHFINDER AT's installed on it. I was, and honestly still am, impressed with that PATHFINDER AT's. PATHFINDERS are the house brand currently sold by Discount Tire. If I'm not mistaken I think PATHFINDERS are manufactured by KUMHO. For what they are, they seem to be pretty decent tires. They're not in the league of really good all terrain tires like KO2's but, then again, they don't cost nearly as much as KO2's. They have decent traction in dirt and mud and are reasonably quiet.”

“I just had a set installed on my X a couple weeks ago. I love them! The handling is much crisper and responsive over the original Terra Grappler tires I had on and there is virtually no road noise to be heard from in the cab. We had a down poor a week after I got them installed and the wet traction is on point; couldn't get them to spin from a start and they stop really well. For what this tire is priced at, you really can't go wrong. I can't comment on off-road performance just yet, however, the tread pattern is similar to the proven ATM RF10 (Hankook also builds this Pathfinder for us) so I expect it to do just as well off-road as it's older brother does.”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
