“Tire recommendations! Current 215/75R-15 GENERAL GRABBER A/TX SL I am going to need new tires and I am wondering if I should buy a different tire than what I currently have. Overall these tires have been great and drive pretty well in the snow in VT and NY. Drive NJ roads year round aswell. Any recommendations?! Much appreciate any advice!! Read more”

Community members frequently praise the General Grabber A/TX for offering a lightweight, standard (SL) or lower load range option in larger sizes like 33" (275/70R18), avoiding the heavy weight and harsh ride of E-rated alternatives. Drivers appreciate their aggressive tread, good snow traction, and ability to help conserve fuel economy compared to heavier tires. They are often compared favorably against competitors like the BFGoodrich KO2, Falken Wildpeak, and Nitto Terra Grappler.
“Swapped OEM 265/65R17 for Grabber A/Tx 265/70R17 On 2018 Wheels”
“Thoughts on the “General Grabber A/TX” Tire? I’m thinking about getting it in a 33” SL rated 275/70r18. This tire comes in at 46Lbs which is super light. $915ish for 4! It’s the only 33”, snow rated, All Terrain, C/SL load range I could find. All the other 33”s are E rated coming in around 60lbs.”
“275/60r20 General Grabber A/Tx Just thought I'd share what my truck looks like with a slightly larger tire size in case anyone wondered. No level, just stock. Good looking tires in my opinion.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
