“Primacy 5 205/55 R16, harsh ride compared to continental premium contact 7. Continental absorbed bumps better, and it sounded better, it was a muffled sound in suspension, Michelin feels like matador I drove before. Also, I'm almost at 10k km done with these Michelin's and I'm already down to 5mm in front. Very disappointed, I got them instead of premium contact 7 ( that I absolutely loved ) because it should last more than continental, but they wear very fast and I got no grip at all.”

Michelin Primacy 5
Community feedback on the Michelin Primacy 5 is predominantly positive, with many users praising its impressive improvements in road noise reduction, ride comfort, and overall refinement compared to stock tires and older models like the Primacy 4. While the vast majority experience a quieter and smoother ride, a small number of drivers report a harsher-than-expected ride or faster-than-anticipated wear depending on vehicle suspension and local road conditions. Comparisons with performance tires like the Pilot Sport 5 or Continental PremiumContact 7 frequently highlight the Primacy 5 as the superior choice for daily commuting, efficiency, and comfort over aggressive cornering.
“The Primacy 5 is one of the best touring tires available. Road noise and comfort are good, wet and dry grip are great. Try mo Megabatz sa bandang Anonas, or All Tires Center sa Autocomplex Libis. Maganda prices nila pareho when I was canvassing a few months back. Ended up getting from All Tires since mas malapit kahit mas mataas konti.”
“Michelin Primacy 5 or new Primacy 5 energy I need to replace 2 of my tyres and was having a look online and saw that Michelin have released new Primacy 5 'energy' tyres. I was going to get the normal Primacy 5s as I have two already on the front of my car and am pretty pleased with them. However the Energy version has A for both fuel efficiency (normal ones have B for fuel efficiency) and wet grip and is quieter than the Primacy 5s according to black circles and is only £8.50 more per tyre. Given that they're designed for EVs (but website does mention that you get lower fuel consumption for combustion vehicles too) would I notice any difference on my diesel Passat estate? I mainly drive motorways/A roads and am pretty sensible when it comes to driving and I mainly want something that'll last ages and is good for fuel consumption. So should I go for the Energy edition or would I not experience any difference? Many thanks Read more”
Recomandarea mea e sa alegi primacy 5 fara ezitare.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
