“Both our Polestar2 (new) and 2016 Leaf (Jap import) arrived with Primacy 4s on them. The FWD Polestar needed fronts replaced at ~35k km and being 245/45 R19s Primacy were too pricey so went with Kumho Ecsta PS71 equivalents for a lot cheaper and negligible difference in performance. The rears on the Polestar are still going strong at 45k km and look like at least 60k km will be likely. We also fitted Kumhos on our previous Leaf and were very satisfied with performance and life.”

Michelin Primacy 4
Community feedback for the Michelin Primacy 4 is largely positive, highlighting its excellent balance of low road noise, high comfort, dependable wet and dry grip, and strong longevity for daily driving. While some users note concerns over rapid wear on specific heavy or EV applications, and poor snow performance due to its summer tire nature, most drivers find it a superior touring tire compared to factory options.
“6 year old MICHELIN PRIMACY 4(free) vs new Hankook Ventus prime 4 (290 eur) I currently have a set of Primacy 4 that still have thread and haven't given me any issues. (Dry or wet) . Do you guys think i should change them or will they be good for another year or so? I think they are ok but I've had someone say they're a bit old. Thanks”
“Tyre Suggestion for Seltos Guys, I am planning to change my terrible Goodyear tires, which have been a puncture magnet since I started using them. I have driven 42,000 km, and currently, three of my tires have punctures. I am not going to get this fixed. I am not a car enthusiast and have limited knowledge about tires. I did some research and shortlisted these tires: \- Continental UC6 \- Yoko BlueEarth 1 \- Michelin Primacy 4/5 \- MRF As I will be driving in the worst city in India (Bangalore) due to its terrible roads and highest road tax, I feel Michelin might be prone to punctures, as I read some reviews about it. Please suggest some tyres Wheel profile is 16 inches. Not planning to upgrade that. I don’t have budget constraints as such. View Poll”
“What do you run on your Accord? I love my 6speed manual 2.0l and just put Pirelli P7C2 Summer tires on it; awesome tire. The Pirelli's are better than the Michelin Primacy 4's that were on it before. Most people fail to realize that everything about the personality of your car or truck comes through the tires; everything. Buy the best tires you can afford. I really like knowing I have more capability for emergencies than anyone else around me, just in case. I've had too many instances where tires saved my *ss and avoided accidents to ignore this!”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
