Tire A

Vredestein Quatrac Pro+

Positive

Community members generally praise the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ for providing a remarkably quiet ride, enhanced comfort, and good wet/dry grip compared to factory tires. Many view it as a compelling, competitively priced all-weather option with the 3PMSF rating, though some note it leans more toward wet and dry performance than heavy winter traction. A few users also debate its handling characteristics versus ultra-high-performance all-season competitors like the Continental DWS06 Plus.

“I recently replaced the OE Continental tires on my 2020 LRMY with the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+, size 255/45R19. The OE tires lasted almost 5 years and 25k+ miles but they were down to between 5/32nd and 3/32nd tread, plus I had to plug one of the OE tires this winter due to a screw puncture. The Quatrac Pro+ tires are everything I had hoped they would be. The Quatrac Pro+ tires are reasonably priced (purchased from TireRack), have no foam liner to complicate repairs. The Quatrac Pro+ provide a good ride with decent handling and in my experience provide a quiet ride on many different road surfaces. I saved the best; the QuaTracPro+ tires are easily the best gripping tires I have ever owned for driving wet roads including highway driving in heavy rain. As a rule I don't drive when there is snow and ice on the road. I have never driven my MY in snow with the OE tires. If I ever needed to drive in the snow I would do so with the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ tires. I estimate the range hit at ~5% higher Wh/mile consumption compared with the OE Continental tires.”

“Quatrac Pro+ is Vredestein's on the Mach e Decided to buy a set of 4 of these tires based mostly on price. Came out to about $900 tax included dollars when it was buy 3 get one free. The original tires could have lasted me another year but winter is coming. Things I have noticed so far they are grippy going from 0-60, slightly less harsh ride with a buttery feel, and turning feels nice without slippage. This all could just be a benefit of newer tires. Road noise is about the same. Still new to see if range is going to be different hard to judge especially with the cold climate coming. 2021 Mach e Premium AWD ER 38k miles yes it need a clean and yes I tried to not be in the picture even with the car as dirty as it is, it's like taking a selfie”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
