“Your opinion is your opinion. I have KO2 on all my vehicles. Love them. 118,000km on a set of 37's on my 91 Chevy Suburban with a 6 inch lift. Never had an issue with any of them. I have them on my wife's jeep, my sons f150, my Dodge Ram... I'm getting better fuel mileage too on all vehicles. It all just boils down to what you like.”

Community opinions on the BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 are deeply divided. Many users praise its legendary sidewall durability, aggressive look, longevity, and decent performance in sand, dry trails, and light snow. However, a significant portion of owners report poor traction in wet conditions or hard-packed ice, balancing issues, noise over time, and a tendency to form sidewall cracks as they age.
“BFGoodrich KO2s are an excellent choice That is all. We got whacked with that big winter weather system here in Michigan last week. My '21 Sport is fitted with 235/75R15 KO2s and I finally got a feel for their cold/snow/ice performance characteristics. My opinion is favorable. They were good enough in 5-6" of loose powder, felt planted in melty slush, but mostly impressed me on glazed ice. Didn't encounter any hardpack snow, so can't really comment on how they'll do with that, but I expect they'll perform well on that surface also. I've been running at 38 psi, seems to work okay. Road noise is minimal. Fuel economy took a giant hit, though. I have no empirical measurements to back my observations, but it appears I've taken about an 8 MPG penalty. It only gets worse with speed, too. Highway miles eat even more gas than regular surface streets. Makes sense, given the nature of these tires. To be fair, however, I knew this would happen and accept the loss. For me and my goals with my Crosstrek build, the fuel economy loss is made up for with the improved grip under any road surface I've thrown at it yet. Just wanted to share my experience so far. I'm not disappointed. Read more”
“New shoes on the Bronco Sport makes it feel like a tank! BFGoodrich All - terrain KO2 - 245/65R 17”
“If you are looking for an aggressive-looking tire, the KO2s are Number 1. If you are looking for a tire that performs well on the road, has some grip in rain and snow, and is fairly easy to balance and keep balanced, I might look elsewhere. Cooper AT3s come to mind, and in addition to performing more than admirably on-road and in rain/snow, they are actually an excellent off-road tire. Don't know if they make a C version in your size.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
