“As someone who just bought a dedicated winter tire because my Pilot Sport AS4s don’t do well in just cold, let alone the snow, I’d go for the cross climates. In my experience, around 36° F the Pilot Sport AS4 start to get stiff and lose traction. Add cold with rain or snow/ice, they are outright squirrelly.”

Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4
Community opinion on the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 is largely positive, praising its dry and wet grip, sporty handling, and ride comfort compared to stock alternatives. However, some users note trade-offs in extreme winter conditions, potential range or efficiency impacts on EVs, and faster wear on staggered setups.
“Replaced my Bridgestone Driveguard+ runflats with Michelin PSAS4 because I could get them price matched out the door at Discount Tire cheaper than a set of DWS06+, my usual UHP tire. I might have just gotten a bad batch but mann, those tires were rough. I drove them for two weeks and had them rebalanced twice. The best they could road-force balance them to was 14-16lbs. They were noisy and rough at highway speeds. Tire shop swapped them out with the Continentals and my G30 feels like a german car again. All the tires easily road-force balanced under 10lbs. I was expecting a better ride considering Michelin’s reputation and reviews but they felt worse than my worn run-flats.”
“I’m about to purchase a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires for my 10th gen coupe. It sounds like Costco is the place to get them. I don’t have a membership, but my parents do.”
“logged close too 100k miles on my model Y and been through 3 sets of tires, I'll give you the ups and downs for each. Original Continental ProContact RX - lasted around 23k miles with average 267 wh/mi Michellin pilot sport all season 4 - lasted around 20k miles average 260 wh/mi (had nail puncture so replaced early) It was wearing down to an estimated life of about 40k mile. Turanza EV: lasted till 47k mile but 280 wh/mi Currently on Continental ControlContact Sport SRS+ 400mi in averaging 257 wh/mi. But already seeing tire wear. Truth be told they all drive about the same, sound the same react similiarly.. the only thing I notice and care about is tire wear and energy usage.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
