“Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S discontinued, good alternative? I was hoping to replace my stock tires with the Discoverer AT3 tires since I hear really good things about them and they are a bit more aggressive. Seems like they are discontinued at all the normal tire shops online. So what are my alternatives for an AT style tire? Looking for 235/60R17 to put on Drag DR-31 rims. I live in CO so snow and some light off roading are things to consider. Read more”

“Thoughts on the “General Grabber A/TX” Tire? I’m thinking about getting it in a 33” SL rated 275/70r18. This tire comes in at 46Lbs which is super light. $915ish for 4! It’s the only 33”, snow rated, All Terrain, C/SL load range I could find. All the other 33”s are E rated coming in around 60lbs.”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
