Community opinion on the General Grabber AT3 is largely positive, with users praising its durability on gravel roads, good tread life longevity, and relatively low road noise compared to more aggressive alternatives. Some users noted concerns regarding sidewall or surface cracking and minor tearing after off-road use, but overall satisfaction remains high across various vehicle types from vans to heavy-duty trucks.
“I have ran the cooper at3 and they are great for a mostly highway tire. I just put the grabber a/tx on but don't have many miles on them yet, went with then because they are more aggressive than the at3 but not as heavy and crazy like my previous st maxx. I have no experience with falken. For what you need it if you're tires the AT3s will be good, they are not loud. My new generals have a bit more noise.”
“I have at3’s on my 19 f250 , I love them 23,000 miles on them and maybe I’m halfway into the tread life . I’m easily getting at least 40,000 miles out of them probably close to 50,000 till I get a new set .”
“I feel not many people in this group will like this but I'll post for the hell of it. Some 215/60/17 general grabber at3 I fitted to my A4 to test if it would fit from the standard 225/50/17”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
