“I’ve had the Hankook Dynapro AT2s on another truck and their Dynapro AS on my Expedition. Both were terrible, even dangerous. Got rid of them early on both vehicles. My Lightning came with the General Grabbers. The Grabbers are decent, actually handle snow and wet very well, but are worthless for slush and ice. They’re not good on dirt. But I’ve kept them on now for a bit over 2 years. I’ll be replacing them before next winter as it will be about time anyway. Definitely want to go with something a bit more aggressive or winter-capable, just not sure which tires as of yet. Can’t really afford to sacrifice any range… Maybe just a tiny bit is all.”

“and wrote a review about them, do a search. they ran extremely strong, cornered well, and screamed like a gurl around the corners. mileage did not seem to be any better than the "N" rated tires, but the price was much better.”

Tire A

Hankook Dynapro AT2

Mixed

Community sentiment regarding the Hankook Dynapro AT2 line is divided, heavily dependent on whether users evaluate the OEM factory tire or the retail/Xtreme version. The standard OEM AT2 receives notable criticism for lacking true all-terrain capability, poor wet/winter grip, and premature wear, while highway comfort and quietness are praised. Positive

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
