“...are absolute garbage. I would advise anyone against them. I would in fact buy used tires first. They were loud, tread wore improperly, and only lasted for barely 30k miles. Just never felt safe with these. I just switched to Pirelli Scorpions and so far am very pleased.”

Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

We haven't collected enough community discussion about this tire yet.
Community opinions on the Pirelli Scorpion tire line are divided. Many users praise aftermarket variants like the AS Plus 3 and WeatherActive for delivering a remarkably plush, quiet ride, excellent wet traction, and good snow performance compared to factory options. However, several users report drawbacks such as quicker-than-expected treadwear, potential rolling resistance impacts on EV range, and issues with factory-installed OEM versions, which some owners criticize as noisy or prone to premature wear.
“The Pirelli tires are crap. The Pirelli Scorpion tires sidewalls are very firm & stiff and not very elastic. They are not good handling potholes. I replace all my 20 inch Pirelli tires with Falken Pro G6 sport 20 inch tires. Consider getting a different brand on the tire replacement.”
“I drive a Range Rover Sport for a few months (work vehicle) and it had Pirelli Scorpion tyres, they were summer tyre not M&S, I think they were 20" wheels. They were decent tyres, quiet, gripped well in the wet and dry. Also drove a full fat Range Rover (2015) which had All Season M&S Pirelli tyres fitted, they were equally good.”
“I have both Blizzaks and some new Pirelli Scorpions. We got @12" over the last 12 hours and had no trouble with my Sienna at all. Stable, good braking and great traction off the line. The Blizzaks are good in lighter snow/icier conditions, not so good in the deep stuff.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
