Pirelli Scorpion review

“The factory Hankook AT2s have lasted between 24,000 to 36,000 miles on my current and previous trucks. I have always been happy with the AT2s but last time I went with the Hankook AT2 Xtreme and I am very happy with them. The tires weigh a little bit more than AT2 but no changes to MPG worth noting and ride is very similar. They are slightly louder but not a big deal in my opinion. The AT2 Xtreme seem like they will last much longer because the tread is not wearing as much as the AT2s did. I am getting ready to order a 2026 F150 Platinum and I already told the dealer GM, that they will be swapping out the factory tires with AT2 Xtremes and he had no problems with that... I wish I would have done that on previous F150s that I have ordered! I forgot to mention my worst experience with factory tires was an 2012 F150 BAP that had Pirelli scorpion tires and only lasted 18,000 miles. That was very disappointing!”

“The Pirelli tires are crap. The Pirelli Scorpion tires sidewalls are very firm & stiff and not very elastic. They are not good handling potholes. I replace all my 20 inch Pirelli tires with Falken Pro G6 sport 20 inch tires. Consider getting a different brand on the tire replacement.”

“Never had the xtm ats, just the scorpion AT plus and absolutely loved them. I was going to get another set bc they wore amazingly and did some off roading with them but wanted to go to a 285/70/17 and unfortunately they didn't have that size. So moved on from them but if I was ever to go back to stock size I'd look into pirelli's again”

“After driving with the stock tires in a driving rain shortly after purchase of the car, I decided that the stock tires had to go....very poor traction on wet roads, very noisy and not very good ride quality. So after only 2,500 miles or so, I went with the Pirelli 's (I already have them on my MDX). The other day was the first time driving in another driving rainstorm....what a huge difference! They felt like I was driving on a completely dry road....no slippage at all. I felt very safe and comfortable. Huge upgrade from the stock tires . I can't recommend these tires highly enough.”

“The Pirelli Scorpion Elect is the version for electric cars, I specifically got these as they are supposed to be good for 40-60k Miles depending on driving. They were part of a sports package option on my iD5 GTX. They are fantastic, amazing grip and handling, very quiet and comfortable. The standard one is for ICE cars so not sure if it will last as long or as rigid. For AWD they are super fun and stick to the road like glue.”
