“Pilot Sport A/S 3+ Tires just installed Just got the tires on this morning with an alignment and proper balancing. Holy cow, night and day difference from the original Bridgestones on the car. Car handles so much better. It honestly makes me feel like I just bought a new car. If you have any questions or are considering getting them, feel free to ask!”

Best test result: #2 of 35 in 2023 All Season Tyre 35 Set Shootout (overall ranking)

“CrossClimate2 in. Alenza Run Flats out. Swapped the Alenza run flats for CrossClimate2 all-weather tires. Sharper handling. Better ride comfort. Very quiet after an initial break-in period. Just make sure the tire pressure is as recommended on the door sill sticker, shop techs don’t always check. I’m an early adopter of CC2 tires, been using them on my old Jeep since 2022, super durable and perfect for inclement weather, still had some tread remaining at the 60k-mile warranty mark.”

“I recently installed Michelins (LT285/70R17) and previously had Yoko Geolandar G015 (LT285/R20). The Michelin is slightly larger than the Yoko. My highway mileage improved about 0.7 MPG (16.5 MPG), but in town mileage is the same at 13.5. The best mileage on my vehicle with OEM tires was 16.7 MPG highway (275/55R20 Hankook DynaPro). My truck is rated for 15/21. Ride quality is night & day difference (i.e. better). My first choice was the Firestone Destination LE, but it is not offered in my size. It rates higher than the Michelin. I spent a lot of time reviewing the Michelin Aglis CrossClimate. The UPS driver's in my area use the Crossclimate 2, which is bidirectional tread without a mileage warranty. The UPS trucks are getting 40-50K on the tires and the driver's love them. The standard Crossclimate is a one-way tread which does not work well for uniform tire wear on a truck. One complaint about Michelin Defender. The tread blocks are in a row with large spacing between treads. The straight line pattern results in tire wallowing on sections of pavement with seams in the direction of travel or on steel bridges.”

“I got my new to me 2022 Ultimate RWD in May this year, the tyres were all crap so I went to CrossClimate 2s on all 4 wheels. I can’t tell you what it was doing beforehand but I get 3.7mi/kWh around town and 3.2mi/kWh on the motorway now. I have a fairly heavy right foot, but at 100% charge it shows 270ish miles but mine is an early 72kWh battery so bear that in mind.”

“Just Had Michelin CrossClimate2 Tires Installed Had a screw in my driver’s side rear tire this past week, and have had a slow leak in my passenger side rear since I bought the car a little over two years ago. The tires had worn down significantly through the years, and with my car being rear wheel drive, I noticed the lack of all-wheel-drive when we had some significant snow and ice here in Philadelphia this past winter. I’m hoping these new tires will improve traction for me in any future snow. Paid about $1,250 for the tires at tirerack.com, and had them delivered to a nearby Firestone where they were installed for about $150, and aligned for another $120. Here’s a couple pictures. How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
