“I've had the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 (235/45/18). They were really sturdy, comfort was super bad with them and I sold them for half the price. These are sport tyres, you do not need them.”

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is widely regarded as a top-tier UHP summer tyre with strong dry grip, good wet performance and rim protection. It is often recommended as a comparable or better-value alternative to the Michelin PS5. Reservations include a harsh ride and poor comfort for non-sporty daily use, a harshly negative Swedish test of cold-weather braking, concerns about wear and track use, and isolated vibration and EV-rating questions.
“No EV ready logo on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 I recently bought Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 255/45R19 104Y XL SCT tyres. According to this article, this tyre should contain EV Ready logo but my tyres do not have it. I discussed with seller and they claimed that this tyres are ev ready even if it does not have the ev ready logo. Is that possible ? Can i trust that my tyres are EV Ready ?”
“you could fit them but they are not NF rated, only 5 is NF0 and NF1 rated but on the 21" sized for the sedan.”
“Hi guys thanks for your input and sharing what you are using. I have gone for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 with 20% off so worked out around £150 each fitted.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
