Community sentiment for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 is predominantly positive, with drivers praising its wet-weather handling, quiet road noise, and comfortable ride quality compared to competitors and run-flat alternatives. While traction and longevity are generally viewed favorably, a few owners noted moderate grip limitations under hard acceleration or confusion regarding all-season versus summer classifications.
“I've just replaced ContiSport 5's for Goodyear Assy 2 runflats and the Goodyears are so much quieter. Bought the tyres from Costco and paid £600 for 4 x tyres fitted 225 front & 255 rear on 19" rims. One thing I have noticed with the Goodyears is that the ride is much softer, so for the first time in 3 years of ownership when selecting Sport suspension [M sport adaptive suspension] the ride is fun. Previously the ride was too hard with Sport suspension selected. The Goodyears handle speed humps so much better than the Contis did.”

Yes, that price of £122 back in September was very good. There have been some well priced Goodyears F1's on Amazon recently, with keeping a watch fro your size.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
