Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

The community praises the Bridgestone Potenza Sport for its exceptional dry and wet grip, sharp steering response, and value pricing compared to competitors. However, users frequently highlight drawbacks such as fast tread wear and poor durability when used for track days, along with some complaints regarding lower fuel economy and narrower physical dimensions.
“1-week review: So far loving the tire. Only a touch noisier to my ear. (Granted I am running serious all terrain tires on my Jeep that absolutely roar, so my noise tolerance likely higher than most) More responsive than the MXM4, with exception of initial turn into corners where I get the sense the sidewall is a bit softer - though it's so slight I could be imagining it. Though these tires were found to be harsher over bumps than others in their group, they feel considerably more compliant than my worn MXM4s. Too early to say on range hit. Happy so far.”
“I have the Bridgestone Potenza sport on the car for some 1000 Km. Previously i had the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 fitted. I LOVE the bridgestone. The grip is better, the steering is a little bit more exact but the best is, the damping of the Bridgestone fits my stock S2000 perfect and the tire is not to sensitive for tire pressure. It give a better feel around corners. Will buy them again. Dont see any reason to buy or test a annother tire.”
“Hey Mike: Yeah I just looked at the Continentals you mentioned. That is the same size tire on my 24 Hell Cat Durango ! Interesting. So I went to the Costco website and checked out that size. They don't sell continental , but I was looking at the all-season4 Michelin Pilot. That size has the UTQG: 540, and says 45K mileage warranty. No doubt pro-rated warranty, I'd say. $501 each, that includes mount & Balance, but I have a $16 tire disposal fee for NC. They have a $80 rebate on four right now too. Costco, has some Bridgestone Potenza sport AS but they get noisy as they wear. I had a QX56 that came with those tires , and they were whining pretty good at 16K. I don't recommend them. Sort of like goodyears. And they also have the run flat Pirellis . Scorpion All season Run -flat UTQG of 600 but I bet that is noisy! $583 ! They are very proud of them LOL yeah Mike, if you have doubts, get the Michelins and be done with it. That's what I do when I have conflict on tire decisions, usually more expensive, but I am not ever disappointed with the Michelins . That' just me. I'll have to look and see what the next bigger size of the tire that will fit our rim. have a good one!”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
