Best test result: #1 of 9 in 2024 Tire Rack UHP All Season Tyre Test (noise (tester's mark))

“The Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire was actually made for the carmaker LUCID. The Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire has a treadwear rating of 560 - 600 with a 50,000 mile warranty. The Pirelli P7AS Plus 3 tires that I have experience with has a treadwear rating of 700 - 740 with a 70,000 mile warranty. I presume the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire's lower treadwear rating and mileage warranty was a necessary outcome for the 'performance' tire rating.”

Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3

Positive

The community generally views the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 as an exceptional all-season tire that delivers a quiet, comfortable ride with impressive dry and wet grip. Many users compare it favorably against competitors like the Continental DWS06+ and Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, highlighting its superior noise reduction, handling, and ride quality. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive regarding comfort and performance, a few users note potential tradeoffs in EV range efficiency or mixed experiences with treadwear.

“1 Data Point - P Zero AS Plus 3 As stated, just a single data point, but pretty consistent in my current weather, about 60/40 freeway/surface streets. My daily commute is from Pismo Beach to Santa Maria, California. Tire size is 225/50 R17 on the stock rim. Just in case anyone has considered these tires. They feel GREAT, but suck down more electrons. I am a 65mph on the freeway guy. Read more”

“The factory wheel / tire sizes just are not right for the UHP All Seasons or Touring Tire market. Tesla's all-season option is not rated well. Asking the hive mind here if we think the car would object to running a rear tire with a 1 inch larger diameter in the rear? (275/35R) v factory 275/30? This would open up the choices to the PZero AS Plus 3 Elect s, which I really like on our other Model 3. Apex Wheels has a good fall sale on their new VS-5 and as an alternative I would maybe try a 19 inch square set up. Tire Rack did all of their testing on 235/40R19. But almost all of Apex' 19 inch customers are running 265/35/R19's on wider 19X9.5 wheels with 28 or 29 offsets. Goals: Must be all season for the Atlanta winter (temps hit the high 20's). I do some local autocross for fun. Won a few heats with the car completely stock on the factory PZeros. Thanks for everyone / anyone's input. Current options going around in my head: PZero AS + 3 235/35R20 Front 275/35R20 Rear Apex VS5 19x9.5 and KUMHO MAJESTY 9 SOLUS TA91 EV (crazy, but track wise, it topped the UHP AS tires!) in 235/40/19 ... might leave me an upgrade path to faster set up in the future ....”

“Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 tires - An average driver's review This is a quick review for the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 . I've got a 2022 P2 with the 20" non performance wheels. Decided to replace my original stock Michelin all season tires with something different as I was looking for a bit of a more comfortable ride. These new Pirellis provide a notably softer ride. Almost feels like I'm driving on the 19" wheels. The tires seem as quiet if not slightly quieter than the stock tires. Only have driven 600 or so miles on them so not sure about the efficiency difference. As far as cornering goes, I haven't pushed them to share any real observations. I'm in the States and ordered them through tirerack. I noticed they had two versions of this tire. I purchased the slightly more expensive version (roughly $1400 for set of 4) as I think it was the latest version. This was in June of 2026. Highly recommend these tires if you've got 20" wheels and want something a bit more comfortable in the all season tire category.”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
