“I use CC2s as my winter tires on my Bolt, mostly because I wanted to get smaller rims as well but OEM tires still had plenty of life left and are just fine in the summer. Not using actual winter tires as Colorado weather is too unpredictable, snow happens from September to May but it's still mostly dry and often hot, even mid January there's usually a week of 60F+ and sunny. The tires are excellent. Costco tire centers are not.”

Michelin CrossClimate 2 SUV
Community opinion on the Michelin CrossClimate 2 / CrossClimate 2 SUV is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting exceptional year-round performance, particularly in rain, slush, and snow (3PMSF rated), alongside good longevity. While most users praise their grip, ride comfort, and wet braking, some EV and hybrid owners report a noticeable 10% drop in range efficiency, and a few note increased noise or a high price point.
“my concern about the CC2s is that they don't protect the rim of the tire?”
“Got CC2s on my etron. Grip is fabulous especially in the rain and they're wearing slower than the OEM continentals, but mileage has suffered about 10%.”
“Had to drive Sunday morning around midnight to the far west side of Madison. Normally 30 minutes from my house on a good day. New CC2s and a small AWD SUV made it far less treacherous than it could have been. Only took me 10 extra minutes but I didn’t lose traction or control once. 5/5 stars, will buy again.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
