“All Season tyre vs Summer tyre with better wet grip? I’ve always just assumed that All Season tyres are going to be better for driving in wet conditions than the equivalent summer tyre, but now I’m confused. See these Falken tyres for example: Falken Sincera SN 110 - EU Wet Grip class A. Falken Euroall Season AS210 - EU Wet Grip class B-C The summer tyres are also cheaper & have better fuel economy according to the EU labels. What would be the advantage of all season tyres in these scenarios? Or am I missing something really obvious regarding how the EU ratings work? Read more”

Community discussions regarding the Falken EUROALL SEASON AS210 often revolve around comparing its EU label ratings (such as wet grip and fuel economy) against dedicated summer tyres or alternative brands like Hankook and Goodyear. Users weigh the benefits of having an all-season tyre capability against specific performance metrics and budget constraints for various vehicles.
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
