Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

Community members hold a strongly positive opinion of the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, frequently praising its exceptional snow, ice, and wet weather traction along with low road noise and comfortable ride quality. Users also appreciate its rugged durability, off-road capability, and long tread life, with many expressing intent to purchase another set despite concerns about discontinuation and stock availability.
“WILDPEAK A/T3W - SL vs E After watching many videos, browsing forums, FB posts etc, I've narrowed down my tire purchase to Falkens. I need help with one last piece: SL or E rating? I run a 2019 TRD OR Premium with no lift (yet) and plan on light trail runs and a possible road trip to Michigan at the start of the new year. So might be a little snow encountered lol. I understand the E will be a tougher tire, and could be a rougher ride. Thoughts? EDIT - 265 /70 R17 stock size on TRD wheels if that makes a difference.”
“We received 8 inches of heavy snow. The WildPeak A/T3W handle it with no problem. Even stopping and starting in the plow wash wasn't an issue. I would purchase them again. Hopefully they will resist weather cracking in the coming years.”
“FWIW - 29 months and 30K miles on my 235/65R-17 Falken WildPeak A/T3W , keep pressure at 33lbs F/R highway/town - offroad/beaches run at 15lbs apiece, rotate regularly, live in northeast, sand/snow/highways/fire roads/city driving - tires have another 12 mos life.. I've been impressed enough to buy another set when the time comes.”

Community sentiment toward the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 is predominantly positive, with owners highlighting its quiet highway manners, strong snow and wet traction, and good light off-road capability. Criticisms primarily center around a slight 1–2 mpg fuel economy loss, potential ride harshness or softer P-rated sidewalls depending on vehicle application, and gravel retention in the tread. Many drivers consider it a balanced all-terrain tire suited for predominantly on-road daily driving with occasional trail use.
“GEOLANDAR A/T G015 Anyone running these on 17" rims, stock or other? I have Enkei M52 rims, 17x7.5 and 45mm offset. What size fits without rubbing? 215/60R17 looks to be the closest, the only other size close is 225/65R17 which I think will be too big without a lift. I am open to other suggestions for off-road capable tires that will mainly be used on-road. K02 is out because they don't fit without rubbing, and I plan to add flaps at some point and do not want to lift the vehicle or get different rims.”
“I have Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 on my explorer and they have been great on the highway, towing, off road. 2 summer seasons so far and they still look nearly new. I use winter tires so far in winter tho... My other vehicle (AWD Delica minivan) has chinese brand RoadX RXquest AT QX12 and they have been amazingly quiet on highway - have not used in winter or highway but i will be using them this winter as they are rated 3 snowpeak so qualify as winter tires for my insurance...no issues with handling or wet performance noted so far. only had them on a few months so cannot comment on tread wear.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
