Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.

Pros, cons & observations
Themes extracted from owner reviews found online — not the opinion of TireWheelGuide.
Tire A Eagle F1 Asymmetric
Pros
- Exceptional wet and dry traction, inspiring high confidence in corners and heavy rain
- Precise steering response and excellent road feedback near the limit
- Noticeably improved ride comfort and reduced road noise compared to rivals like Pirelli and Bridgestone
Cons
- Faster-than-average tread wear and shorter lifespan, particularly under spirited driving
- Poor performance and hazardous lack of grip in freezing temperatures, snow, or ice as a dedicated summer tire
- Prone to increased road noise, cupping, or tramlining as the tread wears down past halfway
Tire B T1R
Pros
- Excellent dry weather grip and traction
- High value-for-money proposition compared to premium brands
- Progressive and predictable handling at the limit
Cons
- Soft sidewalls leading to 'spongy' or 'wobbly' handling under load
- Rapid tread wear, especially with spirited driving
- Inconsistent wet weather performance and susceptibility to aquaplaning

Toyo T1R
Community opinion leans positive toward the Toyo T1R, with users frequently praising its competitive price, good wet and dry street grip, and comfortable ride. However, drivers note softer sidewalls that can cause a floaty feel during aggressive cornering, as well as increased road noise once the tread wears down. Tread life expectations vary widely across platforms, ranging from aggressive track wear under 4,000 miles to daily street durability exceeding 20,000 miles.
“Quote, originally posted by ghettols » just ordered 4 195/50/15's (toyo t1R's) from onlinetires . com for 60 bucks a pop... If you have a car that uses that size, like the older Civics, they're a real bargain. But I wouldn't use 195/50-15 on an Integra. Too small. They come in the stock 195/55-15 size...”
“there's so many impacting factors to consider. how low are you, how much camber do you have, alignment, etc. i have them on my 2GS on 19's. i would imagine they should last at least 1-2 years depending on driving habits. i drive slammed on them...but then i take them off every couple of months and swap w/my stox. GL! just try them”
“I am on my 3rd set on my BMW M5. They have shown decent wear even when pushed hard. Tire noise is acceptable although there are quieter tires out there. Grip is excellent with no squeal when pushed hard through the twisties. I haven't had any problem with hydroplaning and I frequently encounter rain since this is my daily driver. Overall, I think it's a good tire for the money. I realize the performance on a 993 could be different but I'm happy with the performance on the M5. I ordered my last set from 1010tires.com.”

How do we compare tires?
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
