Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

Community sentiment for the Hankook Dynapro AT2 is divided, with frequent distinctions drawn between standard OEM versions and aftermarket or 'Xtreme' models. While drivers appreciate the tire's quiet highway ride, decent fuel economy, and competitive pricing, many criticize the base factory version for poor wet and winter traction as well as lack of genuine off-road capability. In contrast, the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme variant receives widespread praise for improved snow performance, durability, and aggressive styling.
“Factory tires are usually worse than what you normally purchase at a tire shop. Have seen it with every new vehicle. (I get a new work vehicle every 3-4 years) If you look up those Dynapro AT2s, you'll see they even have a different tread pattern for the ones that come with new F-150s vs what is reviewed/shown on Tirerack.com They are cheaper, made for mpg, and don't last. I replaced mine on my 2023 at 20K miles. We noticed the same thing on my wife's VW. Came with some lower-end goodyears that were replaced at 15K. Also, tread-wear warranty only applies to defects. If they wear out sooner, that generally isn't covered by any tire brand.”
“I’ve had the Hankook Dynapro AT2s on another truck and their Dynapro AS on my Expedition. Both were terrible, even dangerous. Got rid of them early on both vehicles. My Lightning came with the General Grabbers. The Grabbers are decent, actually handle snow and wet very well, but are worthless for slush and ice. They’re not good on dirt. But I’ve kept them on now for a bit over 2 years. I’ll be replacing them before next winter as it will be about time anyway. Definitely want to go with something a bit more aggressive or winter-capable, just not sure which tires as of yet. Can’t really afford to sacrifice any range… Maybe just a tiny bit is all.”
“I had the Hankook AT2 on my 2019 from the factory and they were way better than the Pirelli's that came on my '15 and my '22 F-150 FX4 trucks. They may not be a true AT tire, but they gave me 50,000 miles and functioned well in MN winters as on road tire and did well enough on the small number of off road excursions they took me on while hunting ( half mile to mile dirt trails and across various set-aside agricultural fields).”

Community feedback for the General Grabber AT3 is largely positive, with owners highlighting strong tread longevity, smooth ride comfort, and low road noise. Drivers also appreciate its off-road capability in gravel, mud, and snow, though occasional questions arise regarding sidewall damage, cracking, and tire sizing fitment.
“I've always used KO2s but was getting really low miles out of a set on my 1 ton van for some reason. Switched to AT3s and pretty happy with them.”
“I have at3’s on my 19 f250 , I love them 23,000 miles on them and maybe I’m halfway into the tread life . I’m easily getting at least 40,000 miles out of them probably close to 50,000 till I get a new set .”
“Only got 32K on them and installed General Grabber AT3. Took a 2000 mile trip and I think the all terrain tires ride better and look bad ***.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
