“I just drove them this week and they are ok. If you are not an aggressive driver and you are looking for longer tread life and an all season they would work fine. If you want better handling in an all season tire I would look at something like the RE970AS. If I can help let me know.”

Community sentiment toward the Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 is largely positive, with owners highlighting its competitive price-to-performance value compared to premium alternatives like Michelin. Drivers frequently commend its quiet ride, wet grip, and respectable tread life, though some note reduced handling sharpness compared to dedicated summer tires and increased road noise after higher mileage.

But I do know that the ride on these Generals on my 20" stockers is very compliant and quiet, even more so than the 19" winter wheels I just took off the car a couple weeks ago. My old S600 came stock with ugly (IMO) chrome 18" wheels with Michelin Primacy summer tires. I swapped those out to 20" AMG knockoff wheels with Hankook Ventus S1/Noble2 all-season tires and there was no discernible difference in ride comfort. But the handling certainly improved. Those Hankooks were good tires too, but not quite as quiet as the Generals. These big heavy cars are too wallowy around turns as it is, especially with the standard Airmatic. The bigger wheels do sharpen it up a bit.”
“What would you do? Hey y’all. I unluckily ran over a screw very close to the sidewall. Currently have 25k mikes on my OEM set of Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2. I was hoping to get a little more life out of the set. Is it a bad idea to get a single cheap replacement and replace all 4 after some more wear? Thanks!”

OEM is 215/45/17. I went with 225/45/17. They seem to be better suited and less stretched for my application. Ended up costing $410 total for them.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
