Best test result: #1 of 10 in 2026 Tire Rack All-Weather vs Winter Tyre Test (ice braking)
“Vredestein Quatrac Pro+s are excellent These tires are phenomenal. I have them on my 2019 Mazda3 and replaced my last set of Continental DWSs. Those were great tires, but I wanted something a bit better for the winter on this replacement, and I was hoping for something a bit quieter for road trips as well. I went with Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ and these are *noticeably* quieter than the DWSs, and they ride better as well. I'm a huge fan so far. Read more”

Tire A
Vredestein Quatrac
Positive
Community opinion on the Vredestein Quatrac (including Pro and Pro+ models) is largely positive, with drivers frequently praising them as a comfortable, quieter, and more budget-friendly alternative to premium tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2. Users highlight excellent wet and dry traction along with a smooth ride, though opinions are mixed regarding their long-term treadwear and performance in deep snow.
Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
