“WILDPEAK A/T3W - SL vs E After watching many videos, browsing forums, FB posts etc, I've narrowed down my tire purchase to Falkens. I need help with one last piece: SL or E rating? I run a 2019 TRD OR Premium with no lift (yet) and plan on light trail runs and a possible road trip to Michigan at the start of the new year. So might be a little snow encountered lol. I understand the E will be a tougher tire, and could be a rougher ride. Thoughts? EDIT - 265 /70 R17 stock size on TRD wheels if that makes a difference.”

How do we compare tires?

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.

Community buzz from Reddit and forums is shown for context only — it never changes the score.
