“Vredestein Quatrac and Hankook Kinergy 4S2 are good tyres. I prefer the vredestein quite comfortable tyres and quieter than the Hankook. But you can't go wrong with either of them.”

We haven't collected enough community discussion about this tire yet.
Community sentiment toward the Vredestein Quatrac is overwhelmingly positive, with drivers viewing it as one of the best mid-range all-weather tires available. Users frequently praise its reliable traction in wet and snowy conditions, along with its quiet and comfortable ride compared to rivals. While some owners note that stopping distances on ice or deep snow do not match dedicated winter tires and tread wear can vary, most consider it an exceptional value over premium brands like Michelin.
“I have used Vredestein Quatrac on my 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE. The car has about 130K miles on it and about 50k on the Vredestein Quatrac. Amazing tires ! M+S rated and excellent traction and grip in rain and snow. Wear a bit faster though. Lasted about 45k miles on my Camry . These are my preferred tires for this car.”
“I had been looking at summer tires due to the fact the Toyo are too. Was looking at these: They get decent reviews The rolling restistance and grip are good too. It is rated as having better grip in the wet than the Vredestein Quatrac: Would have thought the all weather would have better wet grip? Will make a decision tomorrow. I'm in on west of Ireland coast. It's wet rarely icy here, snow would be extreme -only once got proper snow in the last 15 years - the beast from east! Cheers”
“I agree with all of that. The Vredesteins are good, at least the set I have was. I’ll give them another shot at $600. If the sidewalls are a bit fragile to get that lightness, I suppose that’s something to keep in mind. Most people just don’t think about their car and don’t want to. They just want to go to work and get home after work. People have weird expectations of their tires. Whether this is a joke or not it might as well be a genuine review because certainly there’s someone out there for whom this is true.”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
