Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

Community members widely view the Vredestein Quatrac lineup as a high-value, comfortable, and quiet alternative to more expensive premium tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2. Drivers frequently praise its smooth ride quality and dependable wet and light-to-moderate snow traction, though several note it does not match dedicated snow tires in severe winter conditions. Concerns occasionally arise regarding faster tread wear, shoulder chunking, and rolling resistance.
“Vredestein quatrac pro+ I had a tire issue while I was on a trip about a month and a half ago. I was able to plug it, but once the cold weather started, so did the slow leak—and it only continued to get worse. I took it in for service and found out I needed a new tire. The great news was that the tire was still under warranty, so one tire was completely covered. I figured I’d probably have to replace at least two tires, but they had a promotion going on: buy 3 tires, get the 4th tire free. So, with the warranty covering one tire and the buy-3-get-1-free promotion covering another, I only had to pay for two of the four tires. Since I only have about 14,000 miles on the vehicle, I wasn’t necessarily planning on replacing all four this soon, but with the deal, I decided to just pull the trigger and replace all four. I didn’t have a ton of time to research the tires beforehand, but based on what little research I was able to do, these appear to be a better option than the OEM tires. Now we’ll see how they hold up in the snow. Living in the Northeast, that’s going to be the real test! ❄️ If anyone has experience please let me know. I did take this into my dealership.”
“Well the wheels are worth roughly $400-500 by themselves in "drive home and remove" condition. Could be a little higher or lower depending on the weather and the tides. Those particular tires look like about $232 each if it's 215/40/18 so half that for all 4 roughly is $500. I sold my 18" premium set off the new car for $1100 but wheels and tires were separated. Would have been $1200 but the doofus who separated the wheels and tires scratched them a little bit so I lowered it some. $372 is much too low on Ebay but $1200 is a good start point in here. They are slightly used but I still wouldn't settle for less than $800 and instead just sit on them until that happens. Don't let people tell you their worthless:”
“Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ Experience?? Has anyone had experience with Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ tires? I got them off Tire Rack because they are supposedly EV rated... only to later find out there are specific Quadtrac EV tires (not listed on Tire Rack). I know I'll have a hit on range on my 2022 Bolt EUV because I have the original Michelins on the front and Quadtrac+s in the back but it seems very unpredictable (only reason for this is that old fronts were in VERY bad shape and wanted two new tires for safety with a 2year old). Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
