Higher is better. The Relative Score follows your weights below; category scores do not change.
Wet grip starts at “Important”. Treadwear starts at “Neutral” here: road tests measured it for at most one of the two tires, so it rests on owner reviews. Move the sliders and the scores update instantly.
Only one of the two tires has a score here, so this weight changes nothing in the head-to-head.

Community members generally praise the Continental Sport Contact 6 for its strong grip, smooth handling, and impressive wet performance. However, high tread wear is a frequent and significant complaint, with many drivers reporting poor longevity compared to successors like the SportContact 7 and competitors like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. Additional mixed feedback notes issues such as road noise, ride stiffness, and occasional sidewall flex during aggressive cornering.
“CSC6 is excellent tire indeed and the wear is top notch, too. The only sight negatives I am aware of is poor rim protection, quite high noise and harsh ride.”
“Do not buy the 6's. I had a set on my '18 Macan Turbo. Bald in 9,000 miles. The Macan is heavier than the C63S. But still... The other thing I noticed was going into a tight corner, the tires gave the impression they were rolling off the tread and folding under the tire. Weird sensation. But the Extreme's. Da BOMB! I'm waiting for the Mich SS's to wear out. Continental has the Extreme's in the 19/20 setup. I ran these tires on a 2009 GT500 rated at 650HP and a set on an 09 BMW 650i coupe. I'd be running them on the Macan but unfortunately they do not have a set that fit my 20" wheels.”

Community members widely praise the Continental SportContact 7 for outstanding dry and wet grip, sharp steering precision, and strong value compared to key rivals like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. However, users frequently highlight faster tread wear, reduced initial tread depth, and occasional issues with road noise and comfort as main drawbacks.
“Hi, i'll give my take since i've made 15K kilometers with the front tyres changed to the SC7. They last longer on normal road use and they won't give you that typical LSD noise when maneuvering. BUT you'll feel right away that they are softer on the side in the first faster than normal curve. I did not find differences while raining. On the racetrack... maybe the side is too soft, but in general i found them worse than the stock pirelli. Also, on the track you almost have to be weary of the rim from how much the side squishes and wears. I think they could be used for everyday driving, but another set of rims with other tyres should be taken into consideration when doing track days.”
“Last week I fitted brand new tyres on my '03 Z4, replaced the worn GY asymmetric 6's with Conti SC7 and I'm not pleased at all. The car also has recently installed new KW V1's, already driven on the old GY's. Now it just feels chewy in the corners. The tires have a few 100km already. Anyone else disappointed with Conti SC7? Any suggestion on tyre pressures? They filled the tyres 2,5 bar all around, later I left out some air just on the front tyres, but still unhappy. I just don't trust the car in the corners.”
“Continental SportContact 7 vs Michelin Pilot Sport 4 I have a 2022 Mk 8.5 with the stock 18" wheels. The original Michelin PS4 need to be replaced. Unfortunately, I am not able to source new Michelins as they are not in stock anywhere convenient. I am able to get Conti SC7s in 205/40 R18. Never used a set. Always had Michelins on all my cars. Reviews tell me that they are at least as good and probably better than the Michelins (and perhaps better even than the Michelin PS4S I run on my other car), but has anyone tried them? My other options for decent tyres in the correct size are Bridgestone Potenza Sports. I can get Pirelli P Zeros but they are the previous generation and I don't like them (having had them on another car as OEM and replaced them with Michelins after 2000kms). I am in Australia so don't need all season tyres. Thanks in advance. Read more”

Every category score blends two independent signals. 60% comes from professional tire tests (braking distances, lap times, noise measurements), each result compared with every other tire in the same test and newer tests counting more. 40% comes from owner reviews found online, adjusted for how generously each site rates. Both use one scale: the average tested tire gets 70, the best 100. When a tire has only one of the two, the missing half is estimated from the other and the score stays closer to average; with no road test and fewer than five owner reviews it gets no score yet.
Handling is the exception: road tests measure it inside the dry and wet scores, so its own row comes from owner ratings only and starts as less important.
